THE PLEDGE PROGRAM -
2007
One of the primary principles of our teaching is “What you put out, you get back.” Think happy and you will believe happy and you will find more happiness manifesting in your life. The same is true with health and well being, love and relationships, full self-expression, and with prosperity.
Most of us who come here have chosen to make this our spiritual home. More than any other place, this is our main source of spiritual nourishment. We can read the books, browse all those wonderful web sites, and attend inspiring workshops. But we come home to our family at the Church of Religious Science when we want to see, touch, hug and talk with others who have chosen to be responsible for the Truth which they manifest in their lives.
The prosperous well being of The Center for Positive Living is one of those places in life where we get to discover what our real intention is. Just as we know we must plant the seeds for what we want in our lives, we must plant the seeds for the prosperity and spiritual nourishment we want for our Center.
Our Center continues to grow and the Board has begun a number of exciting initiatives which will require all of us to take a look at our giving and step it up a notch. These are times of unprecedented growth for our Church and we will need everyone’s full participation in the financial and spiritual growth that is just around the corner.
We can benchmark our commitment to healing growth by declaring ourselves Members of this church. We can volunteer our time by ushering, greeting, singing, writing, stuffing and mailing, teaching, reading or any number of other ways. We can also give of our monetary good back into our spiritual source -- this is where the rubber meets the road!
The Pledge Program was created to encourage planned giving through the Law of Circulation to that from which we receive support, thereby insuring increased flow. In reciprocation, the Church has a schedule of incentives (see below) for giving back to the giver!
Planned giving allows your Board the opportunity to develop a more realistic budget for the coming year, to plan the most for the highest good for each of us, knowing the resources will be there when needed. This process is going on now and will be set by December 31st.
Planned giving through the Pledge Program allows your cash donations to be tracked through the use of numbered envelopes so that a receipt for tax deductions can be issued at the end of the year. The dated envelopes help you develop the habit of supporting your goals.
Moreover, commitment does something intangible for the person willing to make it. When we commit to goals, we expand our consciousness and receptivity to good, opening unlimited new possibilities for ourselves!
Whatever you decide to make your goal, we all win through increased growth and expansion. In a very real sense, your contributions sustain the financial wellness of our Center and allow us to expand our vision.
All pledges are deeply appreciated - no matter how small or how large. The Law is impersonal - it is the personal commitment that makes a difference!
Please stop by the office to register your pledge. We will call you to pick up your dated, weekly envelopes when received.
